Welcome to SwarmLabs ("the Service"). The Service is operated by the SwarmLabs team ("we") and provides an AI-powered virtual accelerator laboratory platform. Please read these terms carefully before using the Service. Registering for or using the Service means you agree to these terms.
1. Service description
SwarmLabs is a virtual research experiment platform built on physics-model prediction, providing the following core capabilities:
- Physics-engine prediction based on the Arrhenius equation and reaction kinetics
- 143+ experiment engines spanning chemistry, energy, environment, materials, biology, and more
- Multi-agent research workflows (literature review → hypothesis generation → experiment design → virtual experiment → analysis → peer review → report generation)
- Bayesian optimization and active-learning parameter search
- Academic literature search (connected to the real Crossref database)
- Credit-based usage model (free allowance + paid subscriptions + credit packs)
Important notice: SwarmLabs provides virtual experiment simulations that generate predictions from physical models and statistical methods. These results do not replace real physical experiments and are intended for research exploration, parameter optimization, and hypothesis validation. Verify critical results with real experiments before making important scientific or commercial decisions.
2. Account & registration
2.1 Registration requirements
- You must be at least 13 years old to register
- A valid email address and password are required to register
- One email address may register only one account
- You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity under your account
2.2 Free allowance
New users receive 50 starter credits. The Free plan resets 50 credits every day. Credits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
3. Credits & paid services
3.1 Credit system
- Different operations consume different credits (literature search 3, experiment run 5–15, optimization 10, etc.)
- Credits are deducted before an operation runs; failed operations are not refunded (except system errors)
- Subscription plans grant monthly credits that accumulate
- Credit packs are one-time purchases with permanent validity
3.2 Paid subscriptions
- Free plan (¥0/mo): 50 daily credits (resets daily), 5 base engines/day
- Pro plan (¥199/mo): 2,000 credits/mo (accumulate), all 143 engines, PINN/DOE/export
- Team plan (¥599/user/mo): unlimited base credits, team workspace, API access
- Lifetime plan (¥999/one-time): 10,000 lifetime credits, GxP compliance & audit, permanent with no renewal
- Subscriptions are processed via the Creem payment platform, supporting credit cards and PayPal
- You may cancel a subscription at any time; service continues through the end of the current billing cycle
3.3 Credit packs
- Starter pack (¥19): 100 credits, one-time purchase, permanent validity
- Standard pack (¥79): 500 credits, one-time purchase, permanent validity
- Pro pack (¥299): 2,000 credits, one-time purchase, permanent validity
- Team pack (¥699): 5,000 credits, one-time purchase, permanent validity
- Credit packs stack on top of any subscription plan
3.4 Refund policy
- Credit-pack purchases are non-refundable (credits are delivered instantly)
- Subscription plans may be canceled within the current billing cycle; no refund is issued
- Wrongful charges caused by system faults are fully refunded upon contacting support
4. Intellectual property
4.1 Platform content
The software, physics models, interface design, and documentation of the SwarmLabs platform are owned by SwarmLabs and protected by intellectual-property law. No reproduction, modification, distribution, or reverse engineering is permitted without written permission.
4.2 User content
Your experimental data belongs to you. The experiment parameters, results, projects, and notes you create on SwarmLabs are your intellectual property. We do not claim ownership of your research data, will not use your data to train third-party models, and will not sell your data to third parties.
4.3 Literature data
Academic literature metadata retrieved via Crossref belongs to the original publishers and authors. SwarmLabs only provides a search interface and does not store original paper content.
5. Acceptable use
5.1 Permitted
- Conducting legitimate research exploration and virtual experiments
- Exporting your own experiment results for academic publication or internal research
- Citing SwarmLabs predictions (suggested attribution: "based on the SwarmLabs virtual experiment platform")
- Using the API within your subscription allowance
5.2 Prohibited
- Using the platform for illegal or infringing activities
- Attempting to intrude, attack, or reverse-engineer the platform systems
- Abusing the API (exceeding reasonable rate limits, distributed attacks)
- Bulk-scraping literature data for commercial resale
- Transferring, selling, or sharing your account with third parties
- Publishing false, misleading, or fraudulent content
- Using the platform to develop weapons, prohibited substances, or other high-risk uses
6. Service availability
- The Service is provided "as is" without a 100% availability guarantee
- Planned maintenance is announced in advance; emergency maintenance may not be
- We are not liable for outages caused by force majeure (natural disasters, network interruptions, third-party service failures)
- Target availability: 99.5% (monthly)
7. Disclaimer
Virtual experiment results are not equal to real experiment results. SwarmLabs predictions are based on physical models and statistical algorithms and carry inherent error (mean error ~5%). We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of the predictions. You should judge their reliability yourself and verify with real experiments where necessary.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from use of the Service (including but not limited to research delays, material waste, or commercial loss).
8. Service changes & termination
8.1 Service changes
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate part or all of the Service at any time. Material changes will be announced in advance.
8.2 Account termination
- You may delete your account at any time; your data is purged within 30 days
- Accounts violating these terms may be suspended or terminated
- Purchased credits are not refunded upon termination
9. Dispute resolution
- First attempt to resolve disputes through friendly negotiation
- If negotiation fails, disputes may be resolved through email-based arbitration
- Governing law: the laws of the People's Republic of China
10. Terms updates
We may update these Terms of Service. For material changes we will notify you by email or through the site. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
